Dear NSC community,
NSC Task Force on “SSbD tools, integrative systems & platforms”
In 2025, the OECD Working Party on Manufactured Nanomaterials (WPMN) published a report providing an overview of “Safe and sustainable by design (SSbD) tools, integrative systems and platforms for nanomaterials and nano-enabled products”. In ANTHOS’26 (09-11 March 2026, Vienna, Austria), there were a lot of posters and oral presentations from new projects with tools and case studies. In order to valorise and give visibility to all the currently running SSbD projects, the NSC has decided to start a new Task Force on ‘SSbD tools, integrative systems and platforms’ to update the work done at the OECD and to support the community with having an overview of tools and case studies.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could complete this questionnaire (click to download) to describe the tools, integrative systems, or platforms you are developing.
Deadline: 13th April 2026.
Once completed, please return the questionnaire by email to Lya Hernandez (lya.hernandez@rivm.nl) and Cris Rocca (in Cc) (c.rocca@bham.ac.uk).
A table with this overview will be placed as a live document in the NSC and OECD SSIA SG website for increased visibility.
Many thanks in advance for your contribution.
Best regards,
Cris Rocca, on behalf of the NSC coord team and WG on SSbD
